About the Event
The seminar was addressed to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment (MoTIE), to the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare (MoWCSW), as well as to trade negotiators and officials from agencies dealing with gender equality issues in The Gambia. The four hour capacity building workshop brought together 27 participants, amongst whom was the Minister of MoWCSW, H.E. Ms Fatou Kinteh. Other representatives from The Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration & Employment (MoTIE), Women’s Bureau, National Women Council and Permanent Mission of The Gambia in Geneva, as well as international experts in trade policy and gender.
