About the Event
The workshop objectives are:
To identify and contextualise priority issues concerning trade and gender in a post-COVID-19 recovery period in Belize;
To propose tools to mainstream social inclusion and gender equality into new trade rules, taking into consideration precedents in the WTO and bilateral trade agreements.
To initiate networking between representatives of gender and trade sectors, with the aim of identifying intersecting issues and ways to further mainstream gender into trade policy.
