About the Event
The objectives of the orientation workshop are to:
- Inform delegates on the nexus of trade and gender and outline the gender structured gaps in the existing WTO rules-based trading system and recent efforts to address them.
- Discuss possible ways to integrate GESI perspectives into recent initiatives among WTO Members tackling new issues, particularly: E-commerce, investment facilitation and micro, small and medium enterprises.
